Peninsula Outreach Programs Inc. - POPS/CECC - is committed to supporting the advancement of Conductive Education in California, the efforts of California based Conductive Education Teaching Centers, families in need of assistance with tuition and or equipment purchases of educational and medical nature. We specifically support Conductive Education Teaching Centers and their students in the greater Bay Area.
We do not grant requests to individuals, all requests must be submitted by the authorized staff of each facility.

We require proof of nonprofit status, please attach your IRS notification/letter of determination of tax exempt status (e.g. 501(c) (3) etc.) And your most recent filed tax exempt organization tax return.

Grant Application Guidelines

All future funding for Conductive Education centers and tuition assistance shall be determined through our Grant application process. A complete Grant request form is available on this website. Center administrators may print out the online application, make duplicate pages as needed and enter all requests for funding in the areas provided.

Individuals seeking scholarship/tuition assistance should obtain the requisite forms from this website or from their center and then submit their requests directly back to their qualifying nonprofit (501-c), Conductive Education center. All such requests must be included as part of the center grant application and will not be considered independent of said application.

Complete Grant applications must be post-marked no later than June 30th to be eligible for consideration during any current calendar year. Requests post-marked after June 30 will not be eligible for consideration until the following calendar year. Funds will not be distributed until after the close of POPS fiscal year on September 30th.

Grants are for a period of one year and are subject to review. Evaluations will rely heavily on center efforts to obtain matching funds. Centers must also demonstrate their willingness to facilitate the grant application process on behalf of their clients in need of scholarship/tuition assistance. Additionally, centers will be expected to lend their cooperation in providing promotional materials such as pictures, videos, endorsements and progress reports documenting the benefits of conductive education.

All funding decisions are based on need, urgency and availability of funds depending entirely on the success of fund raising efforts and special events on behalf of the Advancement of Conductive Education and Conductive Education Centers. Upon acceptance of funds, recipients hereby expressly indemnify POPS/CECC.
